B*B ( Before Birth) I offer Reiki Healing ( only if requested), Breathing techniques and natural pain medicine D*B ( During Birth) I come with calming teas , mind control exercised and herbal remedies for Postpartum stress. A*B ( After Birth) I have 30 years of Natural Therapies under my belt. Providing a peaceful environment comes naturally. I've developed a 6 step program to heal mind, body and soul called " The Recovery plan" . Ways to heal yourself It involves, * Breathing exercises, mind control technics, self massage, pressure points , self circulation, examples of natural hygiene and cold water solutions, identifying vitamin and minerals in your backyard.aka Garden Salad, dance and vocal cord therapy. Premium package

$500 - $950 [3 day Doula package. $3500 -$6000 Midwife home/ natural deliivery.for all needs]. Includes Reiki Healing. + Natural herbal remedy for pain and inflammation. Includes garlic rub , pressure point massage , cold water therapy and ginger/ tumeric oils (as needed). + Calming green tea mixtures . + Breathing exercises and a herb to restore organ function beginning with eyes / brain ect. ( for Postpartum. As needed. ) My NPI is on record with NPPES for HSA / FSA or insurance reimbursements.

What to expect

As an herbalist, I specialize in inflammation reduction and pain management. Breast milk is king, Formulas without lactose or plant based will reduce the gas pain normal formulas produce. My teas provide calm soothing relaxation throughout the body. My oils and sprays include essential oils, ginger and pine to reduce internal swelling and calm the body. I can and will advocate for the delivery you wish this experience to be.

Let me start off by saying, Karen was heaven sent. My experience with with her was something I never thought I needed, if you’re looking for a doula she’s a perfect fit. I 1,000% recommend her, 10/10. I feel her work is something every mom to be should experience. I feel she helped heal my mind body and soul in a matter of 3 days. My baby girl and I will for ever be grateful for your help in our life, and when I’m ready to have another baby i have you on speed dial. I really do appreciate the time and energy you put into us.

Do I travel out side of Bridgeport Ct. ?

Yes but travel and/ or room and board may be a separate expense added. ( I sometimes have travel support, thus no extra charge needed)

Can you be reimbursed for Doula care?

Yes. The states currently providing coverage through Medicaid are: Florida Maryland Minnesota New Jersey Nevada Oregon Rhode Island Virginia Washington, D.C., also includes coverage of doula care. The great news is that HSA/FSA has been known to cover doula expenses 100% of the time, while insurance companies have been known to reimburse doula expenses 25% of the time (companies such as UHC, BCBS, Cigna, Medicaid and more). And the other great news is that the process for coverage is very simple. You just submit a medical form I will provide.
