I need a lactation consultant that can make home visits to help me breast feed my 2 week old baby that is all of a sudden getting frustrated and crying during breast feeding but is happy with a bottle. I have Anthem blue cross blue shield insurance.
I'm 27 weeks pregnant with twins (first pregnancy) and am looking for an IBCLC to prepare for breastfeeding. I am also looking for a night doula/night nanny to help in the first few weeks or months of my babies' lives. I'm giving birth in a hospital and am hoping for a vaginal birth (depending on how the twins present).
We are looking for an IBLC who can assist with a shallow latch, shorter/flat nipples, and perform weighted feeds. Our baby is 9 days old. We have anthem blue cross blue shield and are looking for an LC that accepts this insurance
We’re moving midway through the pregnancy to the DC region, Maryland side. We’ll probably live in the Rockville area but I’m hoping to give birth with the midwives at George Washington University’s hospital. I’m looking for a labor doula to support an unmediated birth. I also struggled with low supply with my first child so I’m hoping to find a lactation consultant who specialises in that. We have Tricare, which covers both doulas and IBCLCs.
Baby isn’t latching successfully, I’m pumping but want to increase my supply
1. Hospital; 2. Tricare authorized providers; 3. Epidural, vaginal birth
Holy Cross Hospital in Silcer Spring, MD. Hoping to be $1000 or less for birth doula. Hospital birth with limited interventions. Although I’m not against epidural if I feel it’s necessary for pain. Looking for an advocate for myself and husband.
Difficulty with initial latch + slow return to birth weight
Lactation consultant to take me through the entire breastfeeding process with at home appointments.
I am looking for a provider with experience caring for newborns, especially someone who is knowledgeable about newborn feeding and can help manage feeding schedules. Certification is a plus, but hands-on experience with newborn care is the most important requirement. Experience helping families transition when a new baby arrives would be very helpful. The primary care recipient will be a newborn, and I also have a toddler at home. Supporting my toddler as he adjusts to having a new sibling will be an important part of the role. The provider should be comfortable working with both age groups and understanding their different needs. Additional duties may include assisting with newborn feeding routines, soothing and settling the baby, and helping create a calm and supportive environment for both children. Light help related to the children, such as tidying up after meals or activities, may be appreciated. My estimated budget is flexible and will depend on the provider’s experience and qualifications.
We are seeking a postpartum doula to assist in the first 4-6 weeks of our new borns life.
Lactation consultant who is willing to come to my home and work with me. Is knowledgeable of combo feeding
Inova Fairfax $2500 I am still early on. I just want to be healthy and safe and have a healthy baby
I plan to give birth at Anne arundel medical center. I’m looking forward to having an unmedicated birth.
