About me

I’m a DONA International Certified Birth Doula, certified in the United States, with a Master’s degree in Midwifery Counseling and 35 years of professional midwifery experience in Iran. I also have 14 years of experience as a doula and childbirth education instructor in Iran. My extensive background supporting women through pregnancy, labor, and birth allows me to provide knowledgeable, compassionate, and individualized doula support to families in California. My philosophy is to help each mother feel informed, confident, respected, and supported throughout her birth experience. I provide continuous physical, emotional, and informational support while honoring each family’s preferences, values, and birth choices. I speak both English and Persian (Farsi), and I am passionate about helping families feel safe, empowered, and cared for throughout their birth journey.
