About me

I’m Catherine, a trained Birth Doula dedicated to providing compassionate, evidence-informed support to women and their families throughout pregnancy, labor, birth, and the early postpartum period. With a background in education, child development, and years of hands-on experience caring for children and families, I bring a calm, nurturing, and knowledgeable approach to every family I serve. I believe every birth is unique, and every family deserves to feel respected, informed, and supported in their choices. My role is to provide continuous emotional, physical, and informational support while honoring your individual birth preferences and working alongside your partner and medical team. It is my privilege to help families feel prepared, confident, and cared for as they welcome their newest little one.

Prenatal Consultation – Get to know you, discuss your pregnancy and birth preferences, and answer questions. Birth Planning Support – Help you explore your options and create a birth plan that reflects your wishes. Prenatal Visits – Personalized support and preparation leading up to your birth. On-Call Birth Support – Available by phone/text when you need reassurance, guidance, or support as labor approaches. Continuous Labor Support – In-person emotional, physical, and informational support throughout labor and birth. Comfort Measures – Positioning, breathing techniques, relaxation, massage, counter-pressure, and other comfort techniques. Partner Support – Help partners feel confident, informed, and involved throughout labor. Hospital/Birth Center Support – Advocacy and assistance in communicating your preferences while working alongside your medical team. Postpartum Check-In – Support after birth, including an opportunity to talk through your birth experience and adjust to life with your new baby. Newborn & Early Postpartum Support – Guidance and practical support during those first precious days.
