I want to give birth at home but my insurance doesn’t cover midwife’s so I’m trying to get some help with finding an OB that may do home births. I am treating my pregnancy like an overachieving student as I’m only a few weeks pregnant but looking to cultivate the most empowering home birth experience ! I am definitely on a budget, not looking to spend more than a couple thousand dollars on birth services (doula and provider). I want a home birth

To my understanding this service is fairly new and does not have a set limit however, I believe in full transparency and any other service outside of what Kaiser will pay I have full intentions of paying for based on an agreed rate.

Hello! I am located in Oakley and i am a first time mom looking for a birth doula and possibly a postpartum doula. I am hoping to find someone who accepts Kaiser. I would love to learn more about you!

I have Kaiser Doula Care Coverage. I do not plan to get an epidural and want to give birth without medication in a hospital setting (Kaiser Antioch). All my births have been vaginal thus far and consistently have low-risk, healthy pregnancies. I am looking for a doula who can support me in 3 ways: 1) Partner with my husband to offer the best pain management techniques for my unmedicated birth 2) Provide me with a sense of emotional support, coaching, calm, and peace during such a vulnerable and focus-heavy time so I can labor with confidence and weather the mental storm during transition especially 3) Be an advocate for my unmedicated birth with hospital staff that are kind but frequently pushing for constant interruption/monitoring and offering epidural or other more invasive interventions.

I would like an in home birth. Never done it before. Hoping for guidance.
