I will be giving birth at the chinook Lethbridge hospital in Alberta. This is my second kid, first birth experience was extremely traumatic for me. I spent 3 days in hospital getting induced, 12 hours of labour after my water broke, pushed for an hour, then emergency c section. I need someone knowledgeable that can vouch for me, coach me, and help my husband be more supportive. My birth plan is natural, most likely getting an epidural, and my budget is around $650

I am wanting to labor at home as long as possible as hospitals make me anxious. Other than that I am still reading up on other things to include in my birth plan as this is my first baby.

Hello, I am planning to birth with Mountain Miracles Midwifery the last week of June of 2026 (envisioning another home water birth). I live in Frederick, Colorado, and am not sure if you’d be available to travel that distance. I also am specifically looking for - placenta encapsulation - sentimental keepsakes made from the umbilical cord & placenta (i.e. I previously had a dream catcher made from my umbilical cord from my first birth) - belly binding - perhaps some postpartum ancient foods known to help with the healing process Is this something that you offer? I plan to give birth in a hospital. My estimated budget would ideally be no more than $2500. I would ideally like a doula that accepts Kaiser Permanente insurance. My birth plan is to deliver vaginally, unless that is not possible, and to do so with just the use of nitrous oxide and with an epidural as a last resort as I am trying to avoid tearing. I am seeking a doula to help support me through delivery and to support my husband through the birth as well.

We are primarily looking for a doula to assist with an in-hospital birth. I am an older first time mom (will be 40 at time of delivery). I am higher-risk due to multiple chronic illnesses, so hospital for us it is! I don’t have a set budget or birth plan. Currently 9 weeks.

We will be delivering @ Rose Medical in Denver. We are looking forward to a doula and a lactation consultant that are covered with Blue Cross Blue Shield of Illinois. Our hope for a doula is someone who can help support us as we are going to try to give birth unmedicated and would like to avoid interventions if possible. However, #1 is, of course, whatever needs to happen to keep me and the baby safe is priority. Even if it goes against my preferences. We just want someone to help support my husband and I as this is our first child. As far as a lactation consultant, we were hoping for support with breast feeding once we are at home with the baby.
