I have always been passionate about serving and encouraging other women. Through my own parenting journey over the years, I have developed an avid interest in all things birth and breastfeeding. I have been a certified Birth Doula since 2020 through ICEA and Global Birth Community and have been a Certified Lactation Specialist (CLS through LEC) since 2021. I have experience in supporting births in hospitals, in birth centers, and at home. I believe that women have a right to nonjudgmental encouragement and support throughout their birth story, whatever they choose and wherever it takes them. With the growing need for innovative healthcare solutions, Alyssa stepped up to provide alternative access to essential services.

I officially began my birth work journey in 2018 and have gone on to work as a doula, lactation counselor, and birth assistant. I feel the idea of supporting women in their birth journey actually took root with my firstborn in 1994. I loved and cherished the guidance I received from other women and provide the care that meant so much to me. I have 4 grown children 2 of which were hospital births and 2 home births. Hi Everyone! My name is Grace Hultquist and I’m a Lactation Consultant based out of Warsaw, IN! I travel up to one hour to see patients in the comfort of their own home. I have the privilege of working for Milk Guide where we accept most insurances so families can receive my care at no cost! In addition to working at Milk Guide, I also work at Aeroflow Breast Pumps where I have the pleasure of helping families all over the US! All of the families I work with locally will be through Milk Guide. I have one little man at home that I breastfed for 16 months - the first half pretty traditionally and the 2nd half I actually exclusively pumped for him! For years afterward, I helped to guide my friends through their birth journeys but after my life changing struggles in 2022 I decided, life is short and there is not a minute to waste! So, in 2023 I decided to make it official and get my Birth Doula Certification. I also went ahead and added Postpartum Doula, Breastfeeding Counselor and Childbirth Educator Certifications to my agenda!
