About me

Hi! I’m Gabby. I’m a Christian, childbirth educator, doula, and student studying to be a midwife. I have always been fascinated by the incredible way God designed women’s bodies for pregnancy and birth. My passion is walking alongside families as they prepare to welcome their babies with knowledge, confidence, and peace. Outside of birth work, I enjoy sewing, cooking from scratch, and spending time in nature. I value kindness, lifelong learning, and caring for the whole person and, by extension, the whole family: body, mind, and spirit. It would be a privilege to support your family during one of life’s most meaningful moments.

Service introduction

Every birth is unique, and my goal is to help you feel informed, supported, and confident throughout your journey. I believe a woman’s body was wonderfully created to nurture, grow, and birth her baby. When supported by healthy habits such as good nutrition, movement, rest, hydration, fresh air, emotional support, and trust in God’s design, the beautiful physiology of birth can often unfold just as He intended. It is my joy to help families understand these remarkable processes while preparing both body and mind for birth. At the same time, I recognize that every mother and baby have a unique story. Birth doesn’t always unfold as we hoped or planned. Whatever your journey looks like, my desire is that you feel informed, respected, and supported every step of the way. I believe parents have the God-given privilege and responsibility to make informed decisions for themselves and their babies. My role is to provide evidence-based education, continuous emotional and physical support, and the encouragement to confidently advocate for yourself and your family while honoring your values and birth goals. Whether your birth is straightforward or takes an unexpected turn, I will remain a calm, compassionate presence by your side. My prayer is that you leave your birth experience feeling heard, empowered, and lovingly cared for. I will serve you at your home or hospital birth.

Two Prenatal Visits (Approximately 90 Minutes Each) Around 34 Weeks During our first visit, we’ll prepare for your birth by discussing topics such as: * Healthy lifestyle habits that support pregnancy and labor, including nutrition, movement, hydration, rest, fresh air, stress management, and emotional well-being. * The physiology of labor and birth. * What to expect throughout labor and the immediate postpartum period. * Evidence-based information regarding common labor procedures and medical interventions. * Creating your birth preferences, postpartum plan, and newborn care preferences. * Understanding your options and making informed decisions that align with your family’s values. * What to pack (for hospital) * Things to consider before baby arrives Around 38 Weeks Our second visit focuses on preparing for the birth itself. Together we’ll: * Review your birth and postpartum plans. * Practice comfort measures, labor positions, and partner support techniques. * Discuss when to call me and when to head to your birth location. * Answer any remaining questions before your baby’s arrival. On-Call Support Beginning two weeks before your estimated due date (38 weeks) until two weeks after your due date, I remain on call for your birth. You’ll also have unlimited phone, text, and email support throughout your pregnancy should questions or concerns arise. Continuous Labor & Birth Support From the time you need continuous support until after your baby is born, I provide: * Continuous emotional, physical, and informational support. * Encouragement and reassurance throughout labor. * Comfort measures and coping techniques. * Position changes and movement that encourage comfort and support your baby’s descent and birth. * Support and encouragement for your birth partner. * Assistance in creating a calm, peaceful birth environment that promotes focus, relaxation, and the natural hormonal progression of labor whenever possible. * Evidence-based information and support as you make informed decisions throughout your labor.
