About me

Welcome! My name is Gabrielle Palinkas, but you can call me Gabby! I am a birth doula ready to help families have the best birth experience possible! I support all births, whether you want to give birth at home with no medication or in a hospital with a planned c-section. I believe that your birth should be all about you! I am a fully trained birth doula on my way to certification through DONA International! I completed all of my required education for certification in January 2024. I am very excited to be certified through DONA International, the leader in evidence-based doula training, certification, and continuing education. As a birth doula I am there to provide physical and emotional support to you throughout pregnancy and birth, as well as support your birthing partner to be as involved in your birth as they wish to be. I also provide evidence-based resources to prepare you to make informed decisions that are best for you and your growing family. One of my focuses is to keep expanding on my knowledge and services to better support my clients. I am very excited to learn about and add postpartum support and lactation support especially! I am also a Certified Child Passenger Safety Technician ready to help you with your child seat installation needs, from infant carriers to regular seat belt use. I especially love helping find the best way to fit multiple child seats and children as I know how stressful that can be!

-One prenatal visit to discuss any concerns about the C-section -One 1-hour car seat installation and education appointment -24 hour phone, email, and text support -Support throughout C-section. -Assistance with breastfeeding and recovery up to two hours following birth -C-section care guidance -One postpartum follow up visit -Postpartum mental health check-ins and provide resources to help navigate the postpartum period

1-on-1 Car Seat Check
In this one-hour appointment, we will review your current car seat(s), whether they are already installed in your car or still in the box. We'll discuss the proper and safe installation of your seat(s) and harnessing/belting of your child(ren). This is a completely free service that is included in all of my doula packages but does not require the purchase of any other packages or services. It is available to any family regardless of the age of the child(ren) and can be requested at any stage in the child's development, including before birth.
