My background is in public health and currently certified under Happy Mama Healthy Baby Alliance as a Birth Doula. I got my certification in May 2023 and have been part of their board since July 2023. I am also a certified 200 hr Yoga Instructor and 85 hr Prenatal and Postnatal Yoga Instructor. I got my certifications in 2021 and 2022. I have experience in Ayurveda, when it comes to nutrition and lifestyle, which I incorporate in my teachings in prenatal and postpartum care. I have worked as a baby nurse for over 25 years and I enjoy helping new parents make the transition into parenthood, by teaching them how to care for the new addition to their family. I have the knowledge and training needed to educate new parents on how to care for their newborn by teaching them how to feed, bath and put babies down for naptime. I can help parents organize the nursery to make things more convenient and easier to handle. I am highly trained to take care of twins or even triplets, so parents with multiple newborns are not so overwhelmed and stressed. Even parents who already have children at home can use the extra help, so they have time to take care of their other children.
