My name is Jalyn and I am a holistically trained full-spectrum doula, placenta encapsulation specialist, and Certified Lactation Education Specialist! My contribution to birth-work is an extension of my spiritual practice that creates a sacred and safe space for truth, radically honest storytelling, generational karmic clearing, sovereign decision making, incorporating forgotten herbal and ancestral practices, reinforcing the importance of community support, and my capacity to support parents in a way that encompasses their holistic wellbeing-- and that of course includes plenty of recalibration and restoration during such a major lifestyle transformation. My hands-on support is an intersection of evidence-based practices with individualized approaches to care. I inform families of ALL of their options before, during, and after pregnancy — advocating for and supporting them in WHATEVER decisions they feel suit them best! I currently support families choosing home birth, birth center or hospital. I am proudly born and raised in South Central Los Angeles and my journey has been inspired by the stories of beautiful Black families in my community, both tragic and revolutionary! Alongside having a background in spiritual and shamanic facilitation , I also have 1+ years of experience with child care/live-in full time nannying, light tutoring, family centered wellness. In my personal time I love to create art through various mediums of expression (painting, crochet, herbal medicine making), create short films documenting my journey of evolution, and uplift the vibration of the collective around me by sharing wisdom based upon my personal experiences as a 26 year old! Hi! I am a lactation consultant and Doula (birth and Postpartum). I started my career as a medical assistant in an Intergrative/Holistic Pediatric clinic. I loved working with families and after experiencing breastfeeding issues with my first baby I decided to pursue a career in lactation. I have worked in pediatrics, hospital and home visits supporting families pursue their feeding goals. My next step in my career was fulfilling my dream of becoming a doula and supporting families prenatally and through postpartum. I feel truly blessed doing the best job in the world. Hi there! My name is Bri and I am a Full Spectrum Doula located in the Los Angeles area. It's my goal to help you prepare for the birth you envision and to set you up for success during your postpartum period. I offer additional services such as childbirth education, placenta encapsulation, support during miscarriage and termination, and much more. I birthed my little one during the summer of 2021 at home (doula and midwife in attendance), which is what ultimately led me to doula work. When I'm not visiting with clients or at a birth, I run a natural skin care business and do some nutritional consulting. I love to cook and read, but I'm mostly enjoying motherhood in my free time.

Hello, I’m Vashti. When I’m not helping mommas have their babies I’m enjoying mine. My husband and I are born and raised in Los Angeles County. I dream of raising a house full of kids that can grow up together. When I had my two babies, I knew I wanted to attempt the natural route, and natural I went. My baby girl was born at home in 2023, and my baby boy was born at a birth center in 2025. Having experienced birth in such sweet and different ways, I decided how in love with the birth experience I was. I knew many birth story’s that were expressed as bad, and my hearts desire was to become to those mommas a redemptive roadmap back into the birth world, and to new mommas, a roadmap where a bad birth experience wasn’t in their story - So I became a birth doula. My heart in the birth world as a Christian certified Doula is to remind mothers that they were created for such a miraculous work and are so much more capable of birth then they realize. Hello, my name is Nina Lamanna and I am a DONA certfied Birth and Postpartum Doula from Los Angeles. I have been a doula since 2017, and trained with DONA teachers and trainers in Los Angeles with Kathryn Auger and Cheryl Baker. My practice involves tuning into our inherent spiritual nature that is within each of us and delving deep to heal wounds. In my free time, I enjoy making dinner with my husband, dancing ballet, baking, painting, and playing with my english bulldog.

While studying at UCLA, I fell in love with maternal and fetal health. My background in human biology laid the foundation for my knowledge of perinatal health and the social and environment factors that can impact one's birth experience. My additional background in art and architecture also informs my practice, inspiring the kinds of embodied experiences I want to guide clients through. My approach as a doula is rooted in science, continuous learning, and education. I believe that understanding your body and your clinical and non-clincal options can reduce fear, build confidence, and support true self-advocacy in any setting. I will never tell you how you should birth, but I will support you in discovering what feels right for you. My hope is that you feel wholey and completely yourself during this incredible moment! I trained at Bini Birth in Sherman Oaks in Spring 2025 and am currently working toward certification through DONA International. Juli's unique background combines the intuition of traditional midwifery and a strong sense of the spiritual side of the childbearing transition. Juli is fully supportive and embraces all families of every shape, size, color, creed, background, belief, sexual or gender identity. You will find love and caring at Open Heart Midwifery. Upon availability, you may hire the midwife to support you overnight during the postpartum period. Juli brings a wealth of experience with both singletons and multiples and can help families get a good night's sleep. She can also assist with feeding/nursing and newborn care skills. If you are feeling tired and alone, please reach out. If the midwife isn't available, she can help you find someone who is so you can access the support you need.
