About me

My name is Gray, I’m a birth and postpartum doula. I strive to make every birth a powerful and safe experience, and to nurture the new mother while helping her discover her amazing capabilities as a mother. I have two little boys, one born safely and peacefully in my own home. I specialize in natural births, and lactation, and will be pursuing my lactation certification in the coming months. I’m happy to work with all families, always judgment free and willing to support.

I offer birth and postpartum services tailored to fit your needs.

Packages

Birth Support (Standard)

- 2 prenatal visits, in your home preferably - Phone/text support throughout the entirety of pregnancy - Birth and postpartum planning - On-call labor support, which will be continuous until approx. an hour after baby is born - 1 Postpartum home visit, feeding assistance, emotional support, guidance, and resource referral - 15% discount on postpartum services

- 1 Prenatal visit, virtually or in home - Phone/text support throughout pregnancy and up to 3 months postpartum - On-call labor support, until approx. an hour after baby is born - Regular postpartum check-ins - 15% discount on postpartum services

Postpartum support tailored to your needs. Can include (but not limited to): - Breastfeeding support - Mental health support - Resource referral - Newborn care - Light housework - Sibling adjustment support - Birth processing - Anything else that will support your mind and body in the postpartum period

Frequently asked questions

Do you only support natural births?

No! While I have a huge passion for natural, unmedicated births, I have a great deal of experience with all other types of births. I’ve supported moms through inductions, epidurals, caesareans, and birth complications. I’m a firm believer that everyone deserves support during such a special time, regardless of the circumstances in which baby is being born.

Do you offer any special discounts?

Yes! I offer 10% off all services for teen mothers (up to age 19 at the start of pregnancy), military families, and families below the Michigan poverty line.

Do you offer payment plans?

Yes! Labor Support: 25% non-refundable deposit at time of contracting to secure my availability, payments can be made at any frequency, but must be paid in full by the 36th week of pregnancy. Postpartum support: 25% non-refundable deposit at time of contracting to secure my availability, must be paid in full by the time of service. Terms can be changed and I am flexible, please don’t hesitate to mention in our initial consult if you need any extra flexibility.
