Npi certified doula, Virginia State-Certified Doula.
We are looking for a Doula who can work with us leading up to birth, be there for the birth to help advocate and support me, and we’re considering a doula for postpartum but it’s not as necessary. 1. I’m supposed to give birth at hospital. 2. We are looking to get pricing. We aren’t really sure right now in terms of budget. 3. I’m having twins. I want a vaginal birth. I don’t want to be on my back, I don’t want epidural but if I have to due to c-section so be it. I want delayed clamping, I want the umbilical cord/organ to come out naturally I don’t want them tugging on it. I want music playing, I deal with migraines so if I can have low lighting in the room that would help me a lot. These are just some of the things on my birthing plan.
I am hoping to give birth in a hospital and I would like to find a doula that accepts insurance. I am interested in having a natural birth with no induction. I am also open to having an epidural but I have 3 sisters who have all given birth naturally to all of their babies so I think I can do it too. I'm looking for additional support specifically at birth. My husband is very supportive but he also has some anxiety in medical situations and we both think it would be great to have an in-person doula for additional and experienced support.

Fairfax Hospital VA Budget is small I just want emotional support during labor and birth
I plan to give birth at Inova Fairfax Hospital and use Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield to cover doula services (I confirmed they will cover). I plan to have a natural, unmedicated birth if possible, but due to certain risk factors my doctors think it is possible I will need a c-section.
1. Hospital 2. Not sure 3. Birth in hospital, no episiotomy, labor down for as long as possible l, no vaccum
I would like to find a doula that is covered by Medicaid and do natural VBAC. Fairfax hospital
birth doula and certified midwife or certified nurse midwife
Birth at home, looking around bushes varies, birth plan is tbd
Hello, I'm planning on delivering at Virginia Hospital Center in Arlington, VA. This will be my 3rd birth and aiming for a VBAC (first was vaginal after several days of induction and long labor in 2022 and second was C-section after several days of induction and short period of pushing in 2024). My current doctor (used for my first birth) fully supports/encourages my choice for a VBAC. I'm looking for someone to help me navigate this birth, hopefully avoiding a C-section and understanding my options with inductions related to VBACs. Budgeting $2700 max
I’m currently looking for a doula and would love to connect with someone who feels like the right fit for this very special moment. I’m relatively new to the U.S., and I don’t have my family with me, so finding someone who can offer emotional support and a comforting presence is really important to me. Speaking Spanish would be a big plus, as it helps me feel more grounded and connected during such an intimate experience. I will be giving birth at a hospital, and my birth plan is still evolving. I trust that my body knows what to do, and I’m leaning toward a natural and intuitive approach, while staying flexible depending on how everything unfolds. My budget is open for discussion, and I’d love to learn more about your packages and what they include. Photography is not a requirement, but it would be a beautiful extra if you're someone who enjoys capturing special moments—having a few meaningful photos of the experience would feel very special to me. If you feel we might be a good match, I’d love to chat and hear more about your work and philosophy!

This is my first pregnancy. I want to have all the tools necessary to manage pain at home as much as possible until I absolutely need to go to the hospital. I don't know enough about this part and need an expert who can know the signs and take charge when the time comes for delivery. I want to discuss my birth plan and trust that there is an expert by my side who will ensure my wishes are respected as much as is possible, within bounds.
Plan to give birth at VHC, looking to have a low intervention/nonmedicated birth and delivering may 1st. Looking to spend under $2k. I am over 35 and conceived through IVF but so far a healthy pregnancy
