We are seeking a postpartum doula to assist in the first 4-6 weeks of our new borns life.
We are looking for a Doula who can work with us leading up to birth, be there for the birth to help advocate and support me, and we’re considering a doula for postpartum but it’s not as necessary. 1. I’m supposed to give birth at hospital. 2. We are looking to get pricing. We aren’t really sure right now in terms of budget. 3. I’m having twins. I want a vaginal birth. I don’t want to be on my back, I don’t want epidural but if I have to due to c-section so be it. I want delayed clamping, I want the umbilical cord/organ to come out naturally I don’t want them tugging on it. I want music playing, I deal with migraines so if I can have low lighting in the room that would help me a lot. These are just some of the things on my birthing plan.

First child. Went thru IVF. Birthing support and spinning baby.
I plan to give birth at Inova Fairfax Hospital and use Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield to cover doula services (I confirmed they will cover). I plan to have a natural, unmedicated birth if possible, but due to certain risk factors my doctors think it is possible I will need a c-section.
Daytime doula twice a week for about month. I have one now but it’s almost over.
I’m expecting my first baby, likely a C-section, and we don’t have family support nearby. I’m looking for flexible postpartum support, especially in the first few weeks. My estimated budget $2000
Looking for some care for our 7 month old (and maybe a little help with our older four year old). Parents would like to run errands and get a break a few nights.

We are looking for an experienced postpartum doula to support a first-time mother (age 35) and newborn, with a strong emphasis on maternal recovery after childbirth. The ideal candidate will be attentive to the mother’s physical healing and overall well-being, while also providing guidance as we adjust to life with a newborn. Requirements: Minimum 3 years of postpartum doula experience Infant CPR certification Fluent in English Experience supporting breastfeeding (flexible based on how feeding evolves) Support Needed Postpartum recovery support for mom for 6 weeks (including monitoring and comfort care) Newborn care and education for first-time parents Sleep training guidance Light household support (e.g., laundry) We are hoping to find someone compassionate, knowledgeable, and proactive, who can balance hands-on support with education and reassurance for new parents. Budget Up to $8,000 per month
I’m currently looking for a doula and would love to connect with someone who feels like the right fit for this very special moment. I’m relatively new to the U.S., and I don’t have my family with me, so finding someone who can offer emotional support and a comforting presence is really important to me. Speaking Spanish would be a big plus, as it helps me feel more grounded and connected during such an intimate experience. I will be giving birth at a hospital, and my birth plan is still evolving. I trust that my body knows what to do, and I’m leaning toward a natural and intuitive approach, while staying flexible depending on how everything unfolds. My budget is open for discussion, and I’d love to learn more about your packages and what they include. Photography is not a requirement, but it would be a beautiful extra if you're someone who enjoys capturing special moments—having a few meaningful photos of the experience would feel very special to me. If you feel we might be a good match, I’d love to chat and hear more about your work and philosophy!
