I plan to give birth at a hospital. I have had 1 previous pregnancy that resulted in a c-section. I desperately want a successful vbac. I was later told that the c-section was likely unnecessary and due to my doctor’s planned vacation. It was infuriating. My labor was progressing very slowly and I was bullied into a c-section. It was a truly awful experience. I want to feel respected and in control of my body.

I wanted someone that helped me taking care of my newborn when I need a break/sleep/take a shower or do food.

Looking for a doula to help advocate for me during Dr visits and especially labor and delivery.

Hospital birth, 3rd child. Husband is away for military training until birth, will have paternity leave starting at birth/close to it. Concerned about labor support and weeks leading up to it with two older children (9, 10) and limited local support. Budget is limited with recently purchasing a new house, looking for Tricare covered support if possible.
