Hi, I’m Imani! 🤎 I’m a Full-Spectrum Doula serving families throughout Chicago, Illinois. I provide compassionate, holistic, and evidence-based support throughout pregnancy, birth, postpartum, loss, and life’s many transitions. I offer birth, VBAC, cesarean, postpartum, and emotional support tailored to each family’s individual needs. Before becoming a doula, I spent over 12 years in Early Childhood Education, 8 years as a nanny, and also worked as a Registered Behavior Technician. These experiences gave me a strong foundation in child development, newborn care, and supporting families through different stages of life. I completed my Full-Spectrum Doula training through Embrace Partum Health in 2026. My passion for doula work is deeply personal. After experiencing pregnancy loss, an unexpected cesarean, and a successful VBAC, I understand how meaningful it is to have someone who listens, provides reassurance, and truly sees you. My goal is to help families feel informed, respected, confident, and never alone. When I’m not supporting families, I enjoy spending time with loved ones, baking, cooking, writing poetry, and building community. As a Full-Spectrum Doula, I support families through pregnancy, birth, VBAC, cesarean birth, postpartum, pregnancy loss, and the many transitions that come with becoming and growing a family. My approach is gentle, nurturing, and personalized because your journey is uniquely yours. I’m not here to tell you how your birth should look—I’m here to help you feel supported and empowered in the choices that are right for you. Whether you need a calm presence in the room, a hand to hold, someone to help you find your voice, or simply someone to remind you, “You’re not alone.
