I plan to give birht in a hospital. My estimated budget is $3100. I plan to give unmedicated vaginal birth. I require my provider to be doula certified.
Where do you plan to give birth? I'll be giving birth at Cedar's Sinai in the Los Angeles area. Estimated budget between $1,500-$3,500 for birth support depending on experience and package inclusions. Describe your birth plan I'm aiming for a natural, vaginal birth and want to avoid a C-section unless it becomes medically necessary. I'm open to an epidural or other pain management options to make labor as smooth and manageable as possible, but my priority is a supported vaginal delivery with strong advocacy throughout. Requirements for the provider I'm comfortable working with a doula who speaks English, though Spanish fluency is a plus. Most importantly, I need someone who will actively advocate for me at the hospital and help me navigate decisions in real time to achieve the best possible outcome. I'd prefer a certified doula with meaningful hands-on labor support experience. Details about care recipients This will be my first baby, due in July. No special needs or complications currently anticipated. Additional duties Beyond labor support, I'd love guidance and education around lactation and breastfeeding. I know it can be a challenging journey and want to feel informed, prepared, and supported through it from the start
I’m looking for a day time nanny, who can care for my daughter who is 5 weeks old. Details: – Tuesdays & Thursdays, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (18 hrs/week) – $25-35/hour DOE – Santa Monica Start date: ASAP What we’re looking for: Someone with real infant experience who knows what milestones are coming and can partner with us on sleep, feeding, and play. Bilingual English/Spanish is a nice to have— we’d love our little one to hear both. Must be fully vaccinated (Tdap, flu, MMR, COVID) and have strong recent references. While baby naps, light help around the house is part of the role — bottles, baby laundry, tidying up. No deep cleaning. Bonus: If you have availability outside these days, we’d happily use you for occasional date nights and last-minute care (paid separately). I will request a trial two trial days to make sure it's a good fit.
Hi! I’m expecting my first baby this November and am looking for a birth doula who will be a calm, supportive presence throughout labor and delivery. I’m hoping for as natural of a birth as possible, but I’m also open to changing plans if it’s what’s safest for me or my baby. More than anything, I’m looking for someone who will help me feel informed, confident, and supported throughout the process. My partner will be with me during labor, and I’d love a doula who works well alongside partners and helps us both feel prepared. I’m looking for someone who provides emotional support, comfort measures, guidance through labor positions and breathing techniques, and gentle advocacy so we can make informed decisions together. Because this is our first baby, it’s important to me to build a trusting relationship before birth. I’d love to learn about your experience, what’s included in your services, how you support clients during labor, and whether you offer prenatal and postpartum visits. I’m excited to find someone who is compassionate, experienced, and a great fit for our growing family!
Birth location: Hospital Budget: $2,000-$4,000 (flexible) Birth Plan: Flexible but natural preferred Requirements: 5+ years experience, 25+ families helped Recipient: 39 year old with some chemical allergies (40 years-old by birth time) Additional Duties: Flexible Insurance: Anthem, Member ID: MPI30405156Q, Group #: 277163M402, Plan Code: 040
I plan to give birth at UCLA Santa Monica. I really don't have much in the budget, maybe a couple thousand. I'm potentially interested in hypnotherapy and aromatherapy, but not opposed to an epidural, and would like a very quiet and calm environment with minimal yelling. Absolutely no circumcision under any circumstances. Apparently I have a chance at getting reimbursed for doula services if they work under a license of some kind, so that would be preferred. I have Blue Shield PPO, in case that's helpful. I'm 35 so "Advanced Maternal Age", and have been flagged as high-risk for my weight. Any experience helping first-time moms with larger bodies is appreciated. My first trimester has been very rough. Thanks for considering!

The primary focus of this position is to assist me with my physical recovery and overall well-being. Duties may include helping me move safely, assisting me in and out of bed or chairs as needed, preparing light meals and snacks, ensuring I stay hydrated, helping me stay on top of my medications, providing emotional support, and performing light household tasks such as tidying, dishes, and light laundry so I can focus on healing. I am looking for someone who understands C-section recovery and can help make the postpartum period less physically demanding. No direct newborn care is required, as their grandmother will be assisting with that. My primary insurance is Blue shields of CA POS through Optum Medical Netwrok My secondary insurance is Anthem Blue Cross HMO through Optum Medical Network.
