What to expect

I offer holistic birth and postpartum support designed to help families feel prepared, grounded, and cared for during pregnancy, labour, and the early weeks after birth. My role is to provide emotional, physical, and informational support so you can navigate your birth journey with confidence and ease. During labour, I offer continuous presence, comfort measures, and guidance to help you stay connected to your body and your birth preferences. In the postpartum period, I provide nurturing in-home support for healing, rest, and newborn care. This includes feeding support, light household help, emotional check-ins, and holistic practices such as herbal blends, belly binding, and Closing of the Bones ceremonies. My approach is gentle, intuitive, and rooted in the belief that every family deserves compassionate, accessible care during this sacred transition.

I cannot recommend Isabel Nantaba enough as a birth and postpartum doula. From the moment we met her, she brought a sense of calm, confidence, and compassion that immediately put me at ease. During labor, Isabel provided unwavering support, intuitive guidance, and gentle encouragement, helping me feel empowered and informed every step of the way. Her care didn’t end after birth; she was a constant source of support during the postpartum period. She helped me navigate the early days with practical advice, emotional reassurance, and hands-on assistance, making the transition to parenthood so much smoother and less overwhelming. Isabel’s approach is both professional and deeply caring. She truly listens, adapts to your needs, and creates a nurturing environment for you and your family. Choosing Isabel as our doula was one of the best decisions we made, and I am so grateful for her presence during such a transformative time in our lives.
