Hello there, my name is Gaby, I am a nurse, doula, lactation consultant, newborn specialist and fertility care practitioner & a mother, located in Jacksonville, FL. My name is Kimberley Homer, and I am a dedicated Licensed Midwife and the proud owner of Crowning Midwifery, Birth Services, and Beyond, serving families throughout Jacksonville, Florida and the surrounding areas. I have been committed to birth work since 2012, walking alongside mothers and families during one of life’s most sacred transitions. Over the years, I have had the honor of supporting more than 300 families as they welcomed their babies into the world across three states and 22 cities. My journey has also included training and mentoring several student midwives and birth assistants, helping to cultivate the next generation of compassionate birth workers. I believe deeply in community collaboration and have partnered with local organizations to promote awareness, education, and meaningful support for the families I serve. Being a midwife is truly a blessing. Serving as a guide for families who entrust me with their care fills my heart with immense gratitude. Katharine began serving birth clients in Los Angeles in 2009. She relocated to Jacksonville in 2022 to be close to family. She holds lifetime certification with Carriage House Birth. She offers in-person or virtual doula support, childbirth education classes, placenta encapsulation, and prenatal/postpartum consultations. Katharine is passionate about informed consent, education, and protecting sacred birth space. She supports people of ALL identities and family structures. Katharine encourages her clients to be open, flexible and well-informed, and to trust their instinctual knowledge of their babies and their bodies. Hi, I’m Erika a Jax native. I am a Registered Dietitian and Birth doula. I specialize in helping Black women navigate high risk pregnancies, while feeling educated and empowered about their birth. I’ve personally had 3 very different birth experiences and having a doula by my side made me realize how important support is not just for the mom but the entire family.

I am a mother of 3 and a Foster Parent of almost 10 years, DONA-International Certified Full Spectrum Doula, Perinatal Mental Health Advocate, Mental Health Therapist, Social Worker, and a certified Child Birth Educator. I began my journey as a mental health advocate in 2013 which expanded my love for birth and postpartum health landing me here today. As the pandemic restructured our lives, I found myself opening a childcare center, which has recently celebrated 5 years of serving the community. Over the years, I have gained insight and knowledge into brain development, relationship attachments, trauma healing though holistic therapies and interventions, and intentional self-centered love. I am a mother of three wonderful daughters and a son who have shaped the way I view the world, and view birth!
