Birth Doula

• 1 Free in person consultation to see if we are a great fit • 2-3 Prenatal Visits to prepare birth options and plan • Custom birth plan • On-call at 38 weeks • Text, email, phone call support throughout pregnancy • In-person labor support up to 18 hours (I usually have to rest after the 18 hours mark and then return) •Use of labor tools like CUB birth stool, massage balls, essential oils, Bluetooth speaker, labor combs, starry light projector, etc. • Ability to borrow books on birth, breastfeeding, newborns and more from my ever-growing library • 1 Postpartum Visit to let you share how you feel about your birth experience and for me to listen and hold space. I can make any referrals to any specialist like a chiropractor, lactation consultant, pelvic floor therapist, etc.

$1,300 USD · Flat rate

What to expect

I provide educational, emotional, spiritual, and physical support from pregnancy to postpartum. I meet with mamas and their significant other 2-3 times prenatally, provide in-person labor support, and 1 postpartum visit. I educate women on their options, help them create a birth plan, help them to have the confidence to advocate for themselves in the birth atmosphere, provide hands on support if wanted, help them get started with breastfeeding if wanted, and check in on them postpartum to hold space and provide any referrals.

I asked Jade to be my doula during my third trimester and it was the best decision ever. She’s knowledgeable, compassionate and easy going. My son’s birth was not an easy one and I ended up having an emergency c-section. She advocated for me and asked the questions that I was not able to ask while I was managing a fever and extreme pain. She also came to visit us at our home shortly after we were discharged to see how we were doing and to share her point of view of my birth story. My husband and I always recommend Jade to all new to be mothers or if you’re a mom already with your next child on the way. If you’re thinking about hiring her then don’t think twice, she’s your doula 🫶🏻

Jade was such a blessing to have as part of our birth team! She walked alongside us through our whole pregnancy journey and was with us for the birth of our daughter. The education she gave was so helpful and also empowering as we navigated all the choices and decisions as first time parents. She gave us the tools we needed so we could make informed decisions that were the best fit for our family.
