About me

Hey! My name is Jasmine Williams--I am a mommy to a lively 4 year old 1 year old and a wife of 5 years to my incredible husband! I began my journey to motherhood in 2018. During my first pregnancy, I experienced a miscarriage, then became pregnant again in the summer of 2019. When I got pregnant again, I knew that I needed to have emotional and physical support if I wanted to have the pregnancy and birth experience that I desired. My doula was everything I needed and more! Not only did she change my birth experience, but she also changed my life. I immediately knew that I was being called to be a birth and postpartum doula. I believe that, with the proper support, every person CAN do anything they put their mind and energy into. As your doula, I want to encourage you to take back YOUR right to be heard, empowered and supported before, during, and after birth! Trained by Doula Training International

From a simple encouraging text message when you feel like pregnancy is overwhelming to providing you with a peaceful moment to rest when you're in the depths of postpartum sleep deprivation, I am here for YOU!

Birth Education & Support

One of the best things you can do to reduce fear during your birth is to feel empowered and supported. With the educational prenatal sessions, you will gain the practical tools and information you need to create the birth experience that you desire. We will discuss your fears and concerns, learn the natural process of labor and birth, create your ideal birth plan, and empower your mind, body, and soul! I will also be there to support you through your labor and delivery journey. These services include: 3-4 birth preparation sessions (virtual or in person) Convenience for you and your family Access to me via text, email, and phone for the duration of your pregnancy and birth A Google folder full of resources you can access at any time In person labor support Education, empowerment, support

Frequently asked questions

Do you perform any physical examinations?

No. No. No. Doulas are not clinical providers and aren't required to have a certification or degree, therefore I cannot perform any medical examinations or give any medical advice. If this is the support you are looking for, then you may want to have a midwife as part of your birth team. Contact me and I can direct you to midwives in your area.

Aren't doulas only used for unmedicated home births?

ABSOLUTELY NOT! All birthing people need to be supported during their birth no matter how or where you choose to have your baby. As a matter of fact, I don't only provide my postpartum support to birthing people--if you are a foster or adoptive parent, I also can support you as you navigate the new addition to your family.

How will hiring you affect my partner’s role during the birth?

We are all an important piece of your birth TEAM! In no way am I there to replace your partner. In fact, during our Birth Empowerment and Preparation sessions we will discuss the important role that your partner will play during pregnancy, labor, and postpartum!
