About me

Hi, I’m Jenna! Wife, mom of 4, and student birth and postpartum doula and child birth educator in Bel Air, MD. I am currently completing my training through the Biblical Birth School and would love to offer my support to mothers at a price that reflects my current level of certification. Despite the fact that I am a student, I have had a long-held passion for birth work from a young age which has inspired me to consistently learn and grow my knowledge of pregnancy, labor, delivery, and postpartum. Already, I have gained experience as a doula to support a client to achieve a redemptive VBA2C. Additionally, as someone who has personally dealt with very challenging postpartum experiences, I bring a unique perspective for my postpartum clients and can help to support them through my hands-on support as well as making recommendations for local professionals who can best meet their needs.

Service introduction

As a birth doula, after an initial, free consultation, I offer 2-3 prenatal meetings, on-call support from 37 weeks onwards, and 1 follow-up visit within the first 6 weeks postpartum to discuss on how the birth went and to ensure mom and baby are off to a good start! As a postpartum doula, I can be expected to support mom by providing basic, non-medical infant care, light meal prep, light house work, emotional support, and recommendations of specialists if needed.
