Service introduction

I provide comprehensive prenatal support by offering education on the stages of labor, common medical interventions, pain-management options, and what to expect during birth and the early postpartum period. I help clients clarify their values and preferences through birth planning, offer emotional support through attentive listening and reassurance, and teach preparation tools such as comfort measures, breathing techniques, labor positions, and partner support skills. I also help families navigate resources by sharing information and referrals to childbirth classes, lactation support, mental health services, and community resources. During labor, birth, and the postpartum period, I offer continuous, non-medical support tailored to each family’s needs. This includes hands-on physical comfort measures, calm emotional reassurance, and advocacy support to help clients understand their options and communicate preferences with their care team. After birth, I provide emotional check-ins, practical assistance with newborn care and feeding, guidance for physical recovery and self-care, and referrals to pediatric, pelvic floor, mental health, and community support services.
