Hello families! My name is Becca, 45 years old, and I was born and raised in Portland, Oregon. I am very calm, loving, patient, responsible, and flexible.. Being a birth and postpartum doula is my passion and I find much happiness in this type of work! I have 20+years experience working as a nanny and early childhood education teacher. My education includes Postpartum and Birth Doula training in 2024 and a bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education in 2003. I’m also a mother to a wonderful and brilliant twelve year old girl Amelia. I am very active and love the outdoors, hot yoga, healthy cooking/baking and being around animals. I prefer to work in the SW Portland/Tigard/Beaverton/ area but I’m able to travel to accommodate your needs.

I'm delighted to be your birth and postpartum doula! I have been working with families and their children for the past 15 years of my career. I love helping first time parents adjust to their new life with their new baby, getting their home set up for success, providing rest, healthy food, and comfort to the birthing parent, sibling support, and helping family adjust during this special time.
We cannot say enough wonderful things about our doula Rebecca. From the very beginning, she was attentive, compassionate, and genuinely invested in making our birth experience as positive and stress-free as possible. She was incredibly hands-on, always available to answer questions, provide reassurance, and offer practical guidance every step of the way. Her knowledge, professionalism, and calm presence gave us confidence during a time that could have felt overwhelming. Whether it was helping us prepare before labor, providing comfort measures during labor, or offering support postpartum, her dedication never wavered. What truly set her apart was how much she cared. She made us feel heard, respected, and supported throughout the entire journey. We are so grateful for her expertise, kindness, and unwavering commitment to our family. If you are looking for a doula who is attentive, knowledgeable, hands-on, and genuinely compassionate, we wholeheartedly recommend her without hesitation.

Rebecca supported me through my first birth with exceptional care and reliability. She was always available to address my concerns, effectively communicated my preferences to the medical team, and guided me through exercises with a gentle and supportive approach. She truly felt like part of the family. I highly recommend her and would absolutely work with her again for a future birth.

Rebecca was an important influence on our son during a crucial time in his development. We needed professional, reliable, tailored child care for our special-needs son, and Rebecca was an amazing provider. Anyone would be lucky to receive support from Rebecca.

Rebecca was an amazing nanny for our son's first year and a half. She is reliable, thoughtful, clean, organized and made a huge impact in our lives while we were getting back to work and juggling a newborn. She educated me on many new-mom things related to nursing, sleeping, feeding which I would not have known about without her. Highly recommend. Excellent experience.

Rebecca is the warmest and most nurturing caregiver and guide as a parent and mother. She knows very well how to interact with babies, infants and of all stages of develoment. She is also very intuitive in post partum stages with parent and child.
