Hi, I’m Kanisha! 👋🏾 I’m a birth prep and postpartum doula in the Bay Area with a background as a former teacher, Labor & Delivery and Maternity RN. I love breaking down complex information into something that feels approachable. My goal is to help you feel prepared, not overwhelmed, while creating a plan that works for you and your family. What’s Included? 40 hours of in-home support Flexible 8hr visits scheduled according to your family's needs during the first 6 weeks postpartum Newborn care & education Diapering, bathing, soothing, swaddling and newborn handling Newborn feeding support for breast, bottle or combination feeding Education around newborn cues, routines and normal newborn behavior Hands-on support building confidence in caring for your baby Postpartum recovery support Practical support as you recover from birth Rest and recovery opportunities while I care for baby Emotional support and nonjudgmental listening Birth experience processing and transition-to-parenthood support Feeding support Breastfeeding and bottle-feeding support Feeding positioning and newborn feeding education The Fourth Trimester Home Light meal preparation and nourishing postpartum snacks Baby-related laundry and light tidying Nursery and baby-area organization Support with establishing a manageable household rhythm Sibling adjustment support when needed Summary: $2,800 for 40 hours Additional daytime support: $70/hour 4-hour minimum for additional visits Overnight newborn support: $600/night 8-hour overnight shift

Postpartum Reset is 20hrs designed to help close the gap between what you were taught in the hospital and what real life with a newborn actually looks like at home. Together, we’ll turn information into confidence, create a rhythm that works for your family. What’s Included Newborn Confidence Hands-on practice with newborn care Diapering, bathing, soothing, swaddling and safe handling Understanding newborn cues and behaviors Building confidence with your baby's daily care Feeding Support Breast, bottle or combination-feeding support Helping you establish a feeding routine that feels sustainable Troubleshooting common early challenges Guidance on when additional professional support may be appropriate The Postpartum Transition Support adjusting to your new identity and daily routine Creating realistic expectations for the first weeks at home Helping you prioritize rest, recovery and basic self-care Nonjudgmental emotional support as you navigate the transition Your “What Do I Do Now?” Plan Personalized newborn and postpartum education Review of common newborn and postpartum concerns Creating a simple plan for when to call your pediatrician, OB/midwife or other provider Personalized resource and referral recommendations Hands-On Home Support Light meal/snack preparation Baby laundry and light tidying Organization of baby-care areas Practical support that allows you to rest, shower, eat or simply breathe

Together, we’ll: Create your personalized birth plan and postpartum plan Discuss labor, common interventions, pain-management options and what to expect Talk through hospital admission, labor and delivery, and immediate postpartum care Prepare for different birth scenarios while keeping your preferences at the center Discuss newborn care, feeding preferences and the first days at home Create a postpartum recovery and support plan Identify your support system and what you may need help with after birth Review questions to ask your OB/midwife and pediatric team
