About Karen

I am a birth and postpartum doula, lactation counselor, Body Ready Method Pro and hypnobirthing instructor in the Philadelphia suburbs. I've lived and parented on 4 continents which has allowed me to search the world for the best options for my clients. Helping clients tune into their intuition so they can make confident decisions is my greatest joy. There are many factors we can't control, but skills-based preparation is always helpful, especially when circumstances change. Prepare your mind, body and life for birth and postpartum.

Birth & Postpartum Doula packages and pricing

Postpartum Doula

Postpartum support can be provided day or night. There is a 4-hour daytime minimum and an 8-hour nighttime minimum. All packages included a postpartum planning session so that we can identify your needs and resources so we can maximize our time together and the the support you receive from me and from other sources. I focus on teaching skills and creating systems and structures so that I am helping you when I am with you, but also when I am not. Special training in lactation, pumping, flange fitting, bottlefeeding, baby wearing, baby soothing, postpartum recovery, nutrition.

$45 USD · Per hour

Birth Doula

Includes:
2 Prenatal Appointments
Unlimited phone and email support
Access to the Body Ready Birth Program
Support throughout labor until after birth
Help with first latch
1 postpartum visit

$1,800 USD · Flat rate

Hello Birth Hypnobirthing

This course is taught in 4, 3-hour sessions. It is a complete childbirth education course with the addition of hypnosis and mindfulness skills to increase confidence in pregnancy and comfort in birth.

$400 USD · Flat rate
