Shortly after becoming a mother in 2013, I realized I was called to support women during the early stages of motherhood. My team of compassionate postpartum doulas and newborn care specialists provides in-home postpartum doula support to families in Houston, Austin & San Antonio-New Braunfels areas.

Gentle Sleep Coaching (Virtual)
I encourage the use of “sleep shaping” techniques with my doula clients in the newborn phase. I do not offer formal sleep consulting earlier than the four-month mark. I have sleep-trained older babies, however, my preferred window for sleep coaching is when they are between 4-7 months. Package includes: •15-minute free discovery call to discuss your needs and see if I’m a fit for your family • 1 -hour zoom call to discuss your family’s daily routine, the various sleep methods available and decide the right approach for your family • Detailed sleep plan in PDF form, tailor-made for your baby • 10 days of text/email support to coach you through your family’s journey to healthy sleep • One final success call

In-home Lactation Support
I offer a comprehensive 1.5-hour in-home visit for mothers who have recently had a baby and need help with breastfeeding. During the visit, I will provide guidance on positioning, achieving a proper latch, treating sore nipples and breast engorgement, and finding a comfortable breastfeeding position. I will also bring a scale to weigh the baby before and after a feed to see how much milk they are transferring, answer questions about breast pumps, size you for a flange if needed, troubleshoot problems, and make referrals as needed. You will also receive a personalized care plan and 2 days of virtual support through the "Helpme Feed" app and a 30-minute follow-up call if needed.

I called Katie when I was on the verge of giving up breastfeeding altogether. She was able to come see me that same day and helped me so much with only an hour and a half. She listened to our struggles and immediately had solutions to our problems. I desperately needed someone to give me tangible advice and instruction, and she did exactly that. She definitely got us back on track and helped me continue with my breastfeeding goals. I cannot recommend her enough! If I needed a doula I would absolutely hire her for that as well because she has a great presence.

Katie started the day we brought our son home from the hospital. From the very first night she made us feel really comfortable leaving our first born baby in her care overnight. She is very professional and was so good at soothing and taking care of our son. She was attentive to his every need and mine and really was supportive in sending me videos and tips on caring and feeding a new born. She is punctual and detailed on letting you know how your baby did over night and sent notes at the end of each shift. As first time parents we don’t know what we would have done with out her help. Would definitely recommend her services.

We hired Katie to sleep train our 5 month old twins. Over the course of 6 nights she successfully helped to gently wean them off night feedings and get used to soothing themselves back to sleep while sharing a room. She was professional, friendly, and made sure we were all on the same page as far as expectations and methods. She also went over their daytime routine and offered suggestions and sample schedules to help set up nights for success. Definitely recommend her for sleep training multiples!
