About me
Hello! I’m Kerynn, and I’m a Certified Birth and Postpartum doula serving the greater Sacramento area. I became a doula in 2019 after the birth of my son, and soon I realized how passionate I am about supporting families through pregnancy, birth, postpartum, and parenthood. Often we have a lack of community, and the village everyone talks about doesn’t exist for many. Doulas help, and I’m honored to support new families during such an important time.

I provide doula services for pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. I also am a Certified Breastfeeding Counselor (CLC) and lactation consultant assistant (LCA) and can help with common breastfeeding challenges. I provide help and support before pregnancy as a fertility doula as well, and offer support with handmade herbal products that I gift to all my clients.

Full Spectrum Doula Services- Insurance Package
- Free Consultation to get to know your specific needs for support, answer any questions, and see if we are a good fit!
- 3 Prenatal Visits during pregnancy, lasting between 90 minutes-2 hours each- two in person, 1 via telehealth
5 Scheduled 1-on 1 Calls via telehealth or phone to offer emotional support, answer questions or provide further education about pregnancy, birth, postpartum, and beyond.
- 2 Herbal & Holistic Support Baskets that incorporate natural, plant-based, and intuitive practices that have been utilized for centuries in pregnancy and postpartum care across the world.

• Access to the Mama in Mind Doula Resource Handbook, a guide written by myself and includes articles from other renowned authors and doulas (used with permission).
• Membership to "Mamas in Mind: Creating our Village", a group with other moms and doula families. Gain a place to connect with others, grow friendships, and attend the occasional meetups and events with other Mama in Mind families.
• 24/7 on call availibility from 38-42 weeks
• Attendance at the birth and providing continuous support during labor
• Guaranteed back up doula services
• A Postpartum Visit a few days after you're adjusted at home, lasting about 1 hour, where we review the birth experience, check in with how you're doing and review your mood and basic newborn care and offer a Breastfeeding Session, where as a Lactation Consultant Assistant, I help with common issues and know when to refer for more help.
•Two 3-Hour Extended Postpartum Shifts (6 hours total), where I provide in home postpartum support in two shifts. •This time may include:
Hands on support during the postpartum period
Emotional support, reassurance and encouragement
Mother care
Preparing herbal sitz baths (from my herbal basket)
Postpartum recovery education
Newborn care
Breastfeeding counseling
Preparation of bottles and washing/cleaning/sterilizing
Help with bathing baby

• Extended Text/Call Postpartum Support during the First 40 Days and up until 3 months postpartum. Postpartum doesn't end after a few weeks, and I am your support as you continue this journey through parenthood.
