Hello there, I’m Lucy Weidig. I’m a certified birth doula, postpartum doula, and newborn care specialist, devoted to serving women physically, emotionally, and physically throughout their pregnancy, birth, and postpartum experiences. I was born and raised in Michigan then relocated to Northern Kentucky in 2017. Besides being a doula, I love to learn about health, read fiction, go hiking, and do anything and everything with my amazing husband. Becoming a doula was never in my plans, but I have a passion for reproduction, babies, and all things women’s health which inspired me to take a doula training with ToLabor, an organization in Richmond, Virginia. My Christian Faith plays a huge role in who I am as a person as well as a doula, and I love incorporating this into the birth field. I can’t get enough of the amazing knowledge and potential around supporting and educating women in and around birth! I dream of experiencing birth for myself and raising my own family, hopefully within the next couple of years. Meanwhile I hope to support as many women as possible through this powerful, beautiful work!

Lucy did a fantastic job! She was able to press on some pressure points for me and helped me get through each contraction that way. It made a HUGE difference! She was also there for me in any little thing I needed and didn’t hesitate to meet me where I was at. She suggested different things for me to try and wasn’t too pushy or too laid back. I would 100% recommend her to anyone that is giving birth. Having a doula was so beneficial and Lucy was amazing at doing her work. 🥰

Hi there! I’m Destiny! I’m a Columbus native, wife, proud mom to a sweet 3-year-old, and career childcare professional with over a decade of experience. My background spans several different areas of childcare, from my career as a private nanny and founding my own event childcare company, Social Sitters, to doula work, postpartum support, and newborn care. Since 2020, I’ve found a special passion for supporting families through the newborn and postpartum stages, which is where I’m choosing to now focus my expertise. As both a mother and childcare professional, I understand firsthand how exciting, yet overwhelming, the transition into parenthood can be. While I bring years of knowledge and hands on experience, my goal is to ultimately support and empower parents to feel confident in the choices that work best for them and their little ones. I pride myself on offering a warm, down to earth approach to care without compromising the professionalism and respect every family deserves. I look forward to connecting with your family!

I cannot say enough wonderful things about the care and support I received during my postpartum experience. Having my first baby was one of the most beautiful, emotional, and overwhelming experiences of my life, and having such a supportive person made all the difference. From the moment I gave birth, I felt cared for, heard, and supported. The postpartum period comes with so many new emotions, questions, and adjustments, especially as a first-time mom. The kindness, patience, encouragement, and reassurance I received helped me feel more confident and comfortable as I navigated motherhood for the first time. I truly appreciated how much Destiny took the time to check on me, answer my questions, and make sure both my baby and I were doing well. I never felt like I was just another patient. I felt genuinely cared for as a new mother during such a special and vulnerable time in my life. I will always be grateful for the compassion and support I received. Those first moments of motherhood are something I will remember forever, and having such a positive postpartum experience made them even more special. Thank you for making my transition into motherhood a little easier and for treating me with so much care and kindness!

Brittany Thomas CD(DONA)

Hello! My name is Brittany Thomas. I am a jack-of-all-trades mother of nine children (and soon to be grandma!) I have always had a passion for helping women and children in my community with a special focus on first time mothers. I had counseled at a crisis pregnancy center for 6 years and unofficially supported close friends and family members through pregnancy, labor, birth, breastfeeding, postpartum and parenting for the last 15 years. I then finally decided to make a career out of it and I am now a Ceritfied Birth Doula through DONA. I had my first child at 19 and knew almost nothing about pregnancy, labor and birth which resulted in a very difficult and traumatic delivery and postpartum. After that experience I was determined to research and learn everything I could about human anatomy, the female body and reproductive system, pregnancy, labor, birth and breastfeeding. I went on to carry and give birth to 6 more children (and breastfeed all of them) each of them having unique challenges which provided me with invaluable experience. It is my dream to see a time in which education and caring personal support of women, from pregnancy through postpartum, is normal and accessible to all. I would love the opportunity to help you feel prepared and educated to face the various challenges labor and childbirth presents. I will be there to support you through labor and delivery and cultivate peace and confidence no matter what type of birth you have.
