About me

Hello Families! My name is Keyz The Wellness Doula. I am the owner and operator of The Indi Women's Club, a women's health practice focusing on health equity and combating maternal health disparities. In addition to being a certified birth and postpartum doula, I am a registered nurse, childbirth educator and breastfeeding educator. It is my strong belief that education and preparation can reduce fear surrounding birth and make for a positive birth experience. My birth philosophy: birth is a natural physiologic process that should be witnessed and supported rather than governed or controlled. Anyone involved in this journey should always aim to keep the woman/birthing person's bodily autonomy intact. I will always hold space for clients to find the fullness of their power, to learn to trust and connect with their bodies, and to give birth in a way that makes them feel seen, heard, safe, and respected.

Birth Doula: 4 prenatal visits with CBE and birth planning, continuous support during labor and 1-2 hours immediate postpartum care with 1 postpartum follow up. Postpartum doula: 3-60 hours of postpartum care including breastfeeding support, newborn care, sibling adjustment, and mental health support Monitrice Service: includes all birth doula services with labor assessment when laboring at home Childbirth Education: group or 1-1 6hr training
