About Kimone
My name is Kimone Kerr, and I founded Momula from a place of deep compassion, personal experience, and a lifelong calling to serve mothers. As a trained registered nurse who has walked through my own postpartum challenges, I understand firsthand how vital it is for women to have support, advocacy, and steady reassurance through pregnancy, birth, and the tender weeks that follow. My mission is to provide faith-centered, culturally aware, nurturing doula care to families in the Orlando and central Florida area, creating a safe space where mothers feel seen, heard, and fully supported on their journey into motherhood.

1. What exactly does a doula do?
A doula provides emotional, physical, and informational support before, during, and after childbirth. While we don’t replace medical providers, we guide you, advocate for your wishes, help you understand your options, and ensure you feel supported every step of the way.
2. When should I book a doula?
Most families book their doula between 12–28 weeks of pregnancy, but it’s never too early or too late to reach out. If you’re already far along, I will do my best to accommodate you.
Do you support hospital births, home births, or birth centers?
Yes! Momula supports births in hospitals, birth centers, and at home with a licensed midwife present. My role is to support your birth plan wherever you feel the safest giving birth.
What areas in Orlando do you serve?
I proudly serve Orlando and the surrounding Central Florida communities, including Winter Park, Altamonte Springs, Kissimmee, Sanford, Lake Mary, and Oviedo. If you’re outside these areas, please reach out accommodations can often be made.
Do you offer payment plans or flexible options?
Yes. I understand that every family has different needs and budgets. Payment plans are available, and you can customize services with add-ons to build the support package that works best for you.
