About me

Hello, My name is Krystal and I am the owner of Held and Heard Doulas. I am a certified Full Spectrum Doula located and servicing clients in the Metro Detroit, Michigan area. I have a strong passion for caring for others and dedicate everyday to doing so. I have worked in the health care field and in the youth development field for many years specializing in client advocacy. I believe that everyone deserves a voice and choice in the care and services they receive. In my practice I work very hard to create a safe judgement free space to learn and provide the best informational and emotional support possible. Whatever journey your own I am here to guide and support you through it I am here to support and uplift you.

Service introduction

As a full-spectrum doula, I offer support through every stage of the journey—from pregnancy to birth, and into postpartum. Before birth, I assist with doctor appointments, emotional support, birth plan preparation, and connecting you with additional resources like childbirth or parenting classes. During labor, I provide patient advocacy, comfort measures, ongoing support, and a follow-up visit after birth. Postpartum services include newborn care guidance, household support, night nanny care, and emotional check-ins. I also offer virtual doula support, which includes pregnancy messaging, phone calls, virtual birth prep, labor support, and postpartum follow-ups for those who prefer or require remote care.
