I plan to give birth at Huntington hospital. I am looking for someone who is in network with Cigna PPO.

Looking to have between 8 and 12 postpartum overnight visits. Help with breastfeeding and sleep training would be preferable as well as helping us get some sleep. Estimated budget is around $3-$4k. We have Aetna but know that Aetna doesn’t cover most doulas.

I am the Community Care Manager intern at a maternity shelter located in Pasadena CA. I am gathering information on local doulas for current mothers living in the shelter, and future mothers that will soon come. Most of our residents have Medi-Cal insurance. Hello! This is my second baby and I’ll be having a hospital birth but I’d love to go unmedicated with as few interventions as possible and really want someone who can help me through the birthing process as well as advocate for me when I’m in a vulnerable state and coach me through the birth. I went 8cm with no epidural with my first, but had no idea until after I got it and really felt like with some coaching I could have made it through. We are expecting our first baby around March 2, 2027 and are looking for overnight newborn support approximately 2 nights per week for the first 8–12 weeks postpartum. Ideally, we would like 10–12 hour overnight shifts and can be somewhat flexible on which two nights each week. Our main priority is safe, experienced newborn care overnight so we can get meaningful rest. We are looking for someone who is comfortable with feeding support, diaper changes, burping, soothing, settling the baby back to sleep, bottle washing/prep, and helping establish healthy newborn sleep habits when developmentally appropriate. We are open to either an experienced postpartum doula or Newborn Care Specialist and would prefer someone with newborn-specific training, CPR certification, strong references, and several years of experience. We are not looking for heavy housekeeping or cooking. Baby-related cleanup and light bottle/laundry support would be helpful. We are currently comparing providers and would like to understand your hourly or overnight rate, minimum shift requirements, and any package pricing for recurring 2-night-per-week support.

I am a first time mom looking for birth doula and birthing education! We are an LGBTQ family and need someone willing to support/work with us. We want to do hospital birth because I have a low lying placenta but I struggle with not knowing what questions to ask/how to advocate.

We’re a married couple expecting our first child and are looking for a supportive, experienced doula for one-hour prenatal and postpartum sessions covered by our Anthem PPO plan. We are in our mid-to-late thirties with a small senior dog. Mom is a high-risk pregnancy with higher anxiety, so we’re looking for someone calm, reassuring, and experienced in supporting first-time parents. Our primary goal is to build confidence through hands-on guidance and education rather than just caregiving. We would love support with newborn care basics including feeding (breastfeeding, pumping, and paced bottle feeding), diapering, burping, soothing techniques, swaddling, gas relief, and sleep support. We’re especially looking for someone who can actively teach and guide us during sessions so we can learn and feel confident caring for our baby. We would also appreciate guidance on what is normal for newborn behavior vs. when to be concerned. Hands-on help with bathing (especially the first few times) would be very helpful. For postpartum recovery, occasional guidance such as sitz baths, padsicles, and belly binding would be appreciated. Light baby-related tasks (cleaning bottles/pump parts, baby laundry) are a plus if time allows. We’re ultimately looking for a calm, supportive presence who can help ease anxiety and provide reassurance as we transition into parenthood. Overnight stays, up to 9 visits
