I’m hoping for a VBAC after a previous C-section (in Sept. 2023), so I’m specifically looking for someone who has experience supporting VBAC/TOLAC births. I have the ILWU-PMA Coastwise Indemnity Plan with Blue Shield of California PPO insurance, and I’m hoping to have my doula services covered or reimbursed through my insurance. I’d like to give birth at a birthing center but my husband is leaning towards a hospital. I mainly want it to be a natural birth and to labor how I feel most comfortable. I don’t want to be pressured or pushed by the hospital in any way (including delayed cord clamping, keeping vernix on etc). My budget is $5k max if possible but not sure how much these services are (would like to use insurance if I can). My insurance is Aetna Choice II POS.
