First time mom, giving birth at Crouse Hospital in Syracuse, NY. No budget, as our insurance covers doula and lactation care. I want to avoid the cascade of intervention as best we can (including induction). I am not opposed to medication however, I do want to give birth as naturally as possible. I know my pain tolerance is low, so I anticipate there's a possibility of wanting an epidural. I want: -delayed cord clamping -skin to skin, golden hour after birth -vaginal delivery -circumcision (having a boy) Don't want: -baby out of mom and dad's sight after birth unless medically necessary -induction interventions unless medically necessary -bottle formula for baby -forceps/vacuum

I am struggling getting my baby to breastfeed. I can’t get him to latch easily and when he does latch he doesn’t stay latched for very long

Dad and I need that extra layer of support to help speak up for us and we need a birthing coach it’s important for us to be able to deliver vaginally so we need techniques and someone to help us get through it .
