Hi everyone! My name is Laura Currens, DPT and I'm a pelvic and orthopedic physical therapist. I focus on one-on-one care tailored to your specific needs including education, manual therapy, exercises and love working with pregnant and postpartum moms. Our focus is to get you back to what you love doing and feel confident returning to all your activities. I'm a mom to two girls and love the outdoors.

Laura graduated in 2006 from San Diego State University with her BS in Kinesiology with an emphasis in Pre-Physical Therapy. She then went on to complete her Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2009 from the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences, San Diego Campus. Laura has completed a 1 year Long-Term Physical Therapy Training for Advanced Manual Therapy in Folsom, CA, and a number of other continuing education courses. She enjoys treating women and men with pelvic floor dysfunctions, pregnancy and post-partum conditions, breast cancer patients, and orthopedic related dysfunctions. She has worked with high level athletes to everyday individuals and loves to really find the driver of symptoms and educate on self management techniques to help patients return to full function quickly and with confidence.
