Laurie Suggs

About me

Laurie is an experienced doula and childbirth educator serving families in the Sacramento area. She is certified through Childbirth International as a labor and postpartum doula, trained with Hypnobabies® as a childbirth hypnosis doula, and is an Evidence Based Birth® Instructor. She has also completed Prevention of Birth Trauma Levels 1 and 2 training through the Birth and Trauma Support Center. She has a Bachelor's degree in Human Development and became passionate about birth over the course of giving birth to her six children. She believes that armed with evidence and complimented with their values as well as the skill level of the care provider, birthing families can make the best choices.
