About Lexi

Hi! My name is Lexi, I am a postpartum doula, and soon to be birth doula! (April 2024!!!). I come from a community with very limited resources for pregnancy, birth and postpartum. My goal is to help that. I myself want to be a resource for you, to allow you to have the birth and postpartum journey that you want. I aim to provide families with resources, confidence and peace. I focus mainly on breastfeeding support, nutrition and meal prepping, postpartum prep, and most of all, just being a listening, non judgmental, supportive ear or shoulder. In my spare time I love to spend time with my 3 year old daughter, go for walks and practice yoga. Let’s make your postpartum journey peaceful, cozy, and most importantly let’s make it what you want!

Preparing for postpartum

Postpartum is often a confusing and looked over time. You are busy preparing for the birth, that often you forget to plan for postpartum. You get home and feel overwhelmed by all the new things everyone is telling you to do and new gadgets to buy. Before you welcome your babe into this world, lets get you fully prepared. We can discuss what items you will actually need for a rich, healing and nourishing postpartum journey. We can prep your area (bedroom, nursing/feeding or changing carts) to be the most productive and healing. Think cozy thoughts. We can discuss meal prep to make sure your body is deeply nourished. As well as any other questions, thoughts and concerns you may have regarding your upcoming postpartum journey.

Postpartum support package

This package is an all in one package. A comforting, nourishing, and supportive environment will be provided to you. I will provide three nourishing meals a week. Herbal foot baths using organic and healing herbs. I will listen as you share, and encourage your rest and healing. This package includes preparing for postpartum, as well as 6 weeks of postpartum care and support.

Postpartum Overnight Care

Rest is of utmost importance when healing after labor. Uninterrupted sleep may be hard, if not impossible for some new moms to get. I will provide overnight care so that parents may rest. Overnight care begins at 9:30pm and lasts until 5:30am. I will care for the baby throughout the night, following our specified agreement of what that may look like (feeding preferences).

What to expect

I currently offer postpartum doula services and support. We will always discuss what kind of supports works best for you and your family. I provide many different packages, for different levels of involvement and care. My total postpartum package offers A comforting, nourishing, and supportive environment will be provided to you.
