About Ekaterina

My name is Ekaterina Mariposa. I am a birth doula, perinatal psychologist, and lactation consultant with 10 years of doula practice and 13 years working as a psychologist. I work in Spain, Georgia, and internationally — online and in person. My clients are often navigating birth in an unfamiliar country, culture, or language — and I know that experience firsthand. I have lived across continents, and my practice grew from that intercultural reality. I speak English, Russian, and Spanish, and I bring both clinical training and deep personal understanding to every birth I attend. My role is not to lead, but to walk alongside — holding space for whatever this birth becomes. Here on Bornbir I am presenting my services online to support you remotely - if you live in the U.S. or Canada, and in person if you are in Europe.

What to expect

I offer full birth doula support — from prenatal preparation through labor, delivery, and the early postpartum days. As a psychologist with 13 years of practice, I also work with adults and couples on life transitions, identity, relationships, immigration, anxiety, trauma, and body-based experience. My approach is somatic and integrative. I specialize in multicultural families navigating birth and life across borders. Online.
