I cannot express enough gratitude for Shawnta's incredible support throughout my pregnancy, labor, and postpartum journey. From our very first meeting, I knew she was special. Shawnta's genuine, loving, and caring nature shines through in everything she does. She isn't just a doula; she was born to do this work. During a particularly difficult moment in my labor, Shawnta's calm presence and unwavering support guided me through. Her words of encouragement and soothing touch were exactly what I needed to stay focused and positive. She truly has a gift for supporting women during childbirth. I highly recommend Shawnta to any expecting mother. She goes above and beyond to ensure you feel supported, empowered, and cared for every step of the way. Shawnta, thank you for being the amazing doula that you are!

Hello! My name is Jennifer, and I am a Certified Birth and Postpartum Doula dedicated to supporting you throughout your birth and postpartum journey. As a passionate advocate for women's health, I provide compassionate, evidence-based care tailored to your unique needs. In addition to my doula work, I am a Certified Clinical Aromatherapist specializing in women's health, and I enjoy integrating holistic knowledge to complement Western medicine. My approach weaves together mindfulness and whole-body wellness techniques to create a nurturing environment for every family. With experience attending numerous births in both hospital and home settings, I have supported many birthing people and families as they transition into their new roles in their pregnancy journey. I would love to connect with you to learn about your goals for your birth and postpartum experience, and to discuss how I can best support you.
When searching for a Doula, I really couldn't have been more lucky to have found Jennifer. I have been blessed to have Jennifer by my side for both of my children's births and couldn't imagine doing it again with anyone else. Jennifer supported my birth plan for both births and diligently worked by my side and for me to help get what I wanted. When things were getting difficult Jennifer was always a calm voice to guide me. Each birth my plan was to go unmedicated. Jennifer was skilled and proficient in acupressure. She even took the time to teach my husband. I utilized her aromatherapy skills and was so happy with the amount of time she put into learning what oils I liked, but also what oils would work best for my needs. Having the opportunity to work with Jennifer made my birth experience the best that it could be, both times. If you're a new mom looking for extra support, or an experienced mom looking for a different birth plan that is more centered around you, I urge you to talk with Jennifer. She truly has a gift for what she is doing. My family is so grateful for this lady!

I’m a momma to 3 incredible babies, my love for pregnancy and babies started at young age, I always knew I wanted to be a mom. I decided to get into birth work after my first baby was born. I have experienced 3 vastly different births myself including a c-section and 2 home births. I am so passionate about vbacs and home births but I support all births and everyone’s decisions. I am based out of Norfolk county but I do travel within reason.

Hi, I’m Natalee- a postpartum doula, newborn care specialist, homeschooling mom, and believer that every family deserves a gentle, supported start. My approach is rooted in compassion, evidence-based care, and deep respect for each parent’s intuition. I see the postpartum season not as something to “get through,” but as a sacred transition- a time to slow down, rest, and grow together. My goal is to help parents feel confident and cared for, whether that means creating a calm rhythm at home, offering newborn care guidance, or simply holding space so you can rest and reconnect. I believe there’s no one “right” way to parent- just the way that feels right for you. My philosophy centers on helping families discover what works for them while reminding them they don’t have to do it all. You deserve support that feels personal, nurturing, and grounded- because thriving in parenthood starts with feeling seen, heard, and held.
