About Amanda

Hello everyone! my name is Amanda, & I have been working in childcare for over 5 years. I obtained my associate degree in early childhood education in 2021 and my doula certifications through the International Doula Institute in 2023. I have worked in various environments including an in-home daycare, a childcare center, and the homes of personal nanny clients. I chose to pursue doula work because of my innate drive to support others and provide the needed assistance to empower families in their abilities. I am beginning to create and grow my doula business and I look forward to connecting with families around my community! I have a calm and reserved personality type which allows space for everyone to be seen and heard. Outside of doula work, I enjoy working on sewing projects, home improvements, and visiting with family!

Birth & Postpartum Doula packages and pricing

Birth support

Birth support includes 2-3 prenatal visits, 24/hr on call period 2 weeks before and after estimated due date, 1-2 hour support immediately after birth, and 1-2 postpartum visits if full postpartum service is not also selected. Additional costs may be factored in for extended visits and such.

Postpartum support

Postpartum doula support starts at $35 for day support and $40 for overnight support. Day shifts are a minimum of 4 hours and night shifts are 8 hours. Within postpartum support, I can provide help with light meal prep, light laundry support, light dishes, and more.

Childbirth education

Currently providing private childbirth education classes for families in their homes or over zoom. The class includes what to expect when labor begins, the labor and birth process, and what to expect directly after birth & postpartum. Handouts and guides are also included!

$50 USD · Flat rate

What to expect

The services I provide currently include birth support, postpartum support (day/night), childbirth education, and breastfeeding/feeding support. I strive to provide a calm and accepting atmosphere where you can grow in your confidence and ability as a parent/family!
