Hi, my name is Leyla. I’m in my mid-30s and have full permission to work in the U.S. I’m originally from Peru, where I earned a degree in elementary education. I’m a passionate advocate for early childhood education and make it a priority to stay informed about the latest in child development—especially through my favorite books and ongoing learning. I’m also a proud mom to a bilingual 5-year-old who is starting kindergarten this year. Watching his growth motivates me even more in this field. I have hands-on experience in childcare and chose this profession because children are never boring—even babies are smarter than we often realize!
