Linda May Hill-D'Ascanio
About me
Hello birthing parents! My name is Linda May. I have been a Doula for 11. I believe every birth is natural, whether supported by interventions or not. I also believe that every birth deserves to be supported by education, physical, emotional, and spiritual assistance from a kind, caring and knowledgeable source. My care is based on professional and personal experience. My goal is to support mothers, and their families as they transition into one of the most important experiences of their lives. I also provide postpartum support, providing education and hands-on learning regarding newborn care. this includes breast-feeding support. I provide evening and overnight support of mothers and their families. I don’t have a big social media presence. While I do have a package and post partum fees that I refer to, this can always be altered to suit each individual client.. I also offer focus sessions for those clients who need assistance but not a full doula package.

Ratings and reviews
I was so thankful for Linda’s support overall and especially leading up to labor. She was very emotionally and spiritually invested in supporting me as I prepared to deliver a third baby after a traumatic labor with my second. I loved having her support during labor, and I felt less lonely after my baby was born when they were checking him over. She stayed with me while everyone else was focused on the baby and that meant so much to me. She also stayed much longer than she needed to, to make sure she could offer support with breastfeeding. These were some of the many joys of having Linda involved, I would highly recommend her given her emotional and spiritual support, and physical support before, during and after labour. She was SO helpful, and was instrumental in redeeming my second labour with this third one. It was a beautiful and much more positive experience!
