I am looking for Doula to help me because i have two kids and another coming in the way and my husband is working full time with mandatory overtime most of the times, and sometimes 6 days a week. He will not be able to take parental leave until next year and i need a lot of help.

My mom and sister have been with me for my first three weeks of postpartum but they are leaving soon and I don’t want to spend the entire day alone, recovering, caring for a newborn, and trying to keep the house functioning. I want another adult who already knows what postpartum support looks like and can just step in with making sure I’m fed, help me catch up on sleep, keeping up with some house work, taking the baby while I shower. I’m looking for three 5-hour daytime shifts per week, ideally Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Probably hours 9am-2pm. I’d like to try one month to start and see from there. I have a tight budget and we’re a new couple just starting out but this is so important for me. Budget around $2000.

I am planning a hospital birth. I'm unfamiliar with these services so I'm honestly not sure what an appropriate budget would look like. I haven't yet started on my birth plan, but I know that I want more than one child so I'm hoping to make birth as pleasant of an experience as possible so I'll want to do it again! I'm really hoping for someone who is able to be my voice and help me stay educated and in the know throughout this process.

I require someone calm, with a wealth of knowledge and experience in supporting women through a trauma informed lens. Also - nutrition is important to me so someone who understands healthy nutrition and holistic care. English spoken well is necessary, French is optional but would be nice. I hope to have night care at least 2-3 times a week as my husband will be travelling for work over a couple months postpartum.
