Hi I’m Lisa , I’m a certified newborn care specialist , lactation consultant, and postpartum doula, and also the proud owner of Labor and Lullabies Newborn Care and Doula Services. I assist tired parents,and their newborn babies, by providing support , around the clock newborn care,guidance, and evidence based information to help them adjust to their new role as parents in the most positive and healthy way possible!

Newborn Care Specialist packages and pricing

Overnight Newborn Care

Our overnight newborn care is our most popular service, at a 9 hour shift , we arrive at your home at 9pm until 6am. We take full care of your babies overnight needs , along with light house chores while you get a good nights sleep.

$60 USD · Per hour

Daytime Postpartum Care

We offer daytime postpartum care at 6 hour shifts . We arrive at 10am and leave at 4pm. Our daytime postpartum care focuses heavily on the rest and recovery of the mom. We will prepare healing and healthy meals , including breastfeeding support, sibling care, light house chores and complete newborn care. Mom can take advantage of her time to nap, shower, eat while we take care of the baby and household.

What to expect

Labor and Lullabies provides postpartum families the hands on and emotional support needed to rest and recover from childbirth throughout the entire fourth trimester. We are experts in infant feeding, emotional and physical recovery from childbirth, infant soothing, and coping skills for new parents. We do light house chores and recommend safe sleep conditioning to help your baby have healthy sleep habits right from the start. Our specialist are invaluable with multiples, preemies and perinatal mood disorder support. Labor and Lullabies Newborn Care and Doula Services helps you to invest in your rest as you bring a new baby into the home.

How much in advance should we book Labor and Lullabies for postpartum services?

As soon as you confirm your pregnancy and are comfortable sharing your condition. We are immensely busy with a beautiful baby boom and get booked up to 8 months in advance. So we strongly advise you to book us early in your pregnancy to assure you get the amount of time you are interested in for our postpartum doula care.
