The cost of a night nanny in Lithonia, GA can be influenced by several factors:

  • Experience and Qualifications

Nannies with extensive experience, certifications (e.g., newborn care specialist), or specific training often charge higher rates.

  • Number of Babies

Caring for twins or multiples typically costs more than caring for a single baby due to the increased workload.

  • Hours and Duration

Rates may vary depending on the number of hours per night, the total number of nights required, and whether the arrangement is short-term or long-term.

  • Duties and Responsibilities

Additional responsibilities, such as bottle preparation, light housekeeping, or sleep training, can increase the cost.

  • Time of Year

Demand during peak times, like the holiday season, may drive prices higher.

  • Agency Fees

Hiring through an agency often includes placement fees or additional charges for their services, adding to the overall cost.

  • Overnight Rates vs. Hourly Rates

Some nannies charge a flat overnight rate, while others charge hourly, which can influence costs depending on the length of the shift.

When considering hiring a night nanny in Lithonia, GA, it's advisable to research and interview several night nannies to find one who aligns with your preferences, needs, and budget. During consultations, you can discuss their specific services and pricing structure to ensure you have a clear understanding of what is included and the associated costs. There’s something so special about being able to support a family during the very beginning of their baby’s life. At Cradle & Bloom, I provide loving, gentle, and attentive newborn and infant care while helping parents feel supported and comfortable along the way. As a Certified Newborn Care Specialist with professional infant care experience, I truly love watching little ones grow, reach new milestones, and develop their own little personalities. My goal is to create a peaceful, nurturing environment where babies feel safe, loved, and cared for—and parents can feel confident knowing their little one is in loving hands.

We had every intention of hiring her as our nanny, but unfortunately our plans changed when my husband unexpectedly lost his job. Even though we weren’t able to move forward, I wanted to leave a review because our experience with her was excellent. From the very beginning, she was incredibly kind, professional, and responsive. Communication was always prompt and easy, and she made a wonderful first impression when she came to meet our 3-month-old daughter. She was warm, gentle, and seemed like such a natural with babies. What really stood out was how seriously she takes childcare. She asked thoughtful questions about our daughter’s feeding schedule, nap routine, preferences, and overall care, which gave us so much confidence that she genuinely wanted to provide the best possible care. It was clear she is experienced, attentive, and truly invested in the well-being of the children she cares for. We were so excited to have found someone we felt completely comfortable trusting with our baby girl, and we’re disappointed that our circumstances prevented us from moving forward. We absolutely plan to keep in touch and hope to use her for babysitting or as our nanny in the future when the opportunity arises. I would highly recommend her to any family looking for a caring, reliable, and professional caregiver!

I was lucky enough to have Ashley join me for doula services in my early third trimester. She was immediately present and actively engaged in communicating with me before my delivery. She showed up to the hospital as soon as I notified her prepared and stayed by my side the entire time. She was comforting and encouraging throughout my delivery and made sure to respect any request I had for my birthing plan. I am especially grateful for her post-natal presence. She has been thorough in follow-ups and has been a strong support to me during my current post-partum struggles. I would highly recommend her.

DeVonne Mitchell

6 years of experience

I have over 20 years of public health experience working at the private, state and federal level. The importance of public health and living a healthy lifestyle has been my life since I was a young girl! My mother set the stage early in life by encouraging an overall holistic approach. I witnessed my first birth at the age of nine and that exposure opened a world of possibilities. I have always had an interest in maternal and child health and a passion to support women during one of the most important seasons of life, the sacred transition into motherhood. After having children of my own, I answered the call to follow my dream and become a doula. My goal is to educate and provide resources for healthy food and lifestyle choices that can lead to a better quality of life for those in the family and future years. I received a B.S. degree in health promotion and disease prevention from the University of Southern California, and a M.P.H. in health policy and management from Emory University. Divine Rhythm Doula + Wellness Services was created to offer birth and postpartum support to expectant families. We provide educational resources and emotional support throughout the birth continuum (pregnancy, new parenthood and beyond). Our services are tailored to each individual’s birthing needs. Our mission is to ensure that our clients have the physical, emotional, mental and spiritual support they need to have a safe, enjoyable birth experience free from anxiety or fear.

DeVonne exceeded my expectations for a doula! She made sure I was ready for the birth that I wanted! She was hands on with all of the unexpected changes that came up in my process! During the delivery she was heaven sent! I couldn’t have done it without her! If you’re looking for a doula, you’ve come to the right place! Her advice was right on time! She was always there for me when I needed her! I will forever be thankful that she was a part of my delivery process!!
