About Shatara

Hello, my name is Shatara. I am a women’s health coach and doula supporting women through the many phases of womanhood with education, advocacy, and compassionate care. My work centers body literacy, informed choice, and emotional well-being, meeting each woman where she is in her journey. Through Nurtured Moons Wellness, I provide relationship-based support that honors autonomy, dignity, and continuity of care. I believe women deserve to feel informed, supported, and respected throughout pregnancy, birth, and beyond.

Founding Family Rate: $1,350 (First 3 Georgia clients only) Grounded birth support for families entering a new beginning. This package offers prenatal preparation, continuous labor support, and early postpartum integration, designed to support a calm, informed birth experience. Includes: • 2 prenatal visits • Birth planning, education, and pregnancy support • Continuous labor and birth support • 1 postpartum visit (virtual or in-person) • Ongoing text and email support during pregnancy Best for: Families seeking steady, uncomplicated birth support with continuity of care. On-call support begins at 37 weeks.

🌒 WAXING MOON — Comprehensive Birth Support

$2,100 Expanded prenatal preparation and advocacy for families wanting deeper support as birth approaches. This package emphasizes continuity, communication, and emotional presence throughout pregnancy, birth, and early postpartum. Includes: • 3 prenatal visits • On-call support beginning at 37 weeks • Continuous labor and birth support • 2 postpartum visits • Infant feeding support • Advocacy, emotional support, and priority communication Best for: Families desiring thorough preparation, reassurance, and sustained support.

🌕 FULL MOON — Birth + Early Postpartum Care

$2,800 Comprehensive care encompassing both birth and early postpartum recovery. Designed to support rest, recovery, and integration following birth, with in-home postpartum care built in. Includes: • All Waxing Moon birth support • 20 hours of postpartum care • Postpartum care scheduled in 3–4 hour daytime shifts Best for: Families wanting continuity from birth through the early postpartum period.

Nurtured Moons Wellness offers compassionate, education-based support through birth, postpartum, fertility, and life transitions. I contracted with Shatara a few weeks before my due date. She was excellent in the short bit of prenatal doula care I received, and really has made such an impact on the delivery and postpartum processes so far. She was a calm and assertive advocate for me while in the hospital during delivery and my subsequent days of care. She has been accessible and available for every question and concern I have had, reaffirming my parenting choices and educating me where I have needed assistance. Shatara has given me confidence, comfort, and knowledge in one of the most critical seasons of my life to-date. I am grateful for her and cannot recommend her enough to others.

Shatara was a pleasure to experience. In my most vulnerable moments she was there to lend a helping hand. She was very reassuring and supportive. She cooked me nutritious meals to help my body heal and educated me on the importance of repairing my body through certain foods and supplements,held on to the baby so I could get some rest and helped me with small tasks around the house. Her holistic approach was not only good for me ,she was a blessing to my whole family.

Shatara was a life line in my birthing experience. Her empathetic nature, calm competence and wealth of knowledge kept me supported me through the birth of My baby girl in a planned induction due to high risk components . She is truly a beautiful spirit. She provided prior to delivery planning and knowledge, birthing coach, and post natal support at home with daily checkins and even meal delivery and lactation consultation.
