About me
I’m a calm, kind and gentle caregiver with 12+ years of experience working with children. I have a M.Ed. degree in Literacy and am a trained Newborn Care Specialist (NCS). I enjoy newborn and infant care and supporting parents during those exciting, sometimes overwhelming early months. My philosophy is centered on responsive, developmentally appropriate care while respecting each family’s parenting style. I follow AAP safe sleep recommendations and CDC guidelines and prioritize safety, communication and evidence-informed care. Outside of work, I’m a mom to two daughters and a pet mom. I enjoy a good cup of coffee, relaxing with TV shows, movies, and spending time with my loved ones. I’m also continuing my professional development in newborn, postpartum and infant sleep care because I’m passionate about learning and growing in this field.

Service introduction
I provide nurturing, reliable care for infants and young children in a calm, safe and engaging environment. I support families with age-appropriate play, routines, feeding, diapering, bathing and children’s laundry. With specialized newborn care training, I can also support newborn routines, soothing and healthy sleep habits while following AAP safe-sleep recommendations and CDC guidelines.

Loretta is awesome, our 7-month old baby loves her and we love her! She's always very careful with our baby, great at communicating, organized and very punctual. She's been with us since our baby was 3 months old, and she has helped him hit all the milestones. We're first-time parents so we're literally nervous about everything, but we feel so much better and confident as parents when she's around, we know our baby is in good hands when we're at work. Loretta has pretty much become part of our family!

Loretta arrived early and was very polite and attentive. She was patient and gentle with my youngest son (6 months) who didn't feel like napping that day! I appreciated her attention to detail, noting when he ate, napped, and had his diapers changed. In addition, she helped my first grader with his school assignments. Very professional and kind.
