Brigette was a wonderful doula for us! I personally interviewed many potential doulas for my birth and Brigette really stood out. Not only is she skilled in her practice but she has a great passion for what she does. During our appointments in advance of the birth, she brought resources and provided clear answers to our questions. And during the birth, Brigette came to support me in the middle of the night when my labor started, all the way through to the hospital where my birth story ended with the arrival of my little girl. Even after the birth, Brigette has been a wonderful support, checking in with us regularly and doing what she can to answer questions and provide additional resources. I highly recommend her!

I had Brigette as my birth and postpartum doula and I couldn’t have dreamed of a better doula experience. I interviewed 7 doulas and Brigette stood out with her calm demeanor and focus on evidence based guidance. Through pregnancy, she provided so much helpful guidance and answered all of my questions and helped us build a birth plan that felt right for us. So grateful to have had her there for my birth. She knew exactly what I needed and gave me a snack at the right moment that helped me get through the last bit!
We then had her as our postpartum doula for 10 weeks. Seriously the best decision ever made and I’m pretty sure it was why I had no postpartum baby blues. She came to us the 2nd day we were home and helped me get some much needed rest while also continuing to provide guidance and answer all my questions. I’m someone who craves feedback and advice which she gave but she never ever pushed anything so if your the type of person who doesn’t like a ton of that, she’d still be great for you. She’s such a wealth of knowledge and always had the most recent studies and info. We had her for 3 nights and 2 days (and tapered off from there) for the first 4 weeks and it was unbelievably helpful. On top of all her knowledge and being amazing with our daughter, she’s also just an awesome human and we loved hanging out with her (so did our parents who came and visited!). If you’re considering a birth or postpartum doula or both, I couldn’t recommend Brigette enough. We were so lucky to have her!

Brigette was our post-partum doula for our first baby and instantly felt like a part of the family. She was always reliable and warm, expert but not dogmatic. I felt supported by her and like our baby was in good hands. We were sad when our time together ended, but we will keep in touch with her, especially if we get to have another baby!

When my husband and I were expecting our first baby, we purchased both the birth and postpartum doula support with Brigette. While I can't say enough good things about Brigette, here are a few characteristics I appreciate about her--she absolutely loves her job, and your baby, and you'll feel it instantly. She's confident while also being accommodating. She's the utmost professional, but also approachable and friendly. And last, but not least, she's informative, but also supportive of your own wishes. Brigette helped guide us through both the expected and unexpected from swaddling techniques to an unplanned early delivery and nursing challenges. If and hopefully when we have another baby, I plan to book Brigette.

Brigette was absolutely amazing! She was so in tune with what me and my husband needed at any given moment. This was our second labor but first time using a doula and we are so thankful we used Brigette. The whole process was more calming and relaxed with her by our side. She listened to what we wanted, and made sure to let the doctors and nurses know our plans. We plan on using Brigette for all future pregnancies!! :)

Brigette was a phenomenal doula that helped my wife and I navigate the birth of our first child in a myriad of ways. During prenatal visits she was a wealth of information and helped us gain the knowledge we needed to prepare for delivery. Throughout the labor process Brigette provided constant emotional support and guidance on important decisions and helped establish a comforting atmosphere. She assisted us with other aspects of labor & delivery such as developing rapport with nurses and bringing us food. Since delivery, she has checked on us and our child multiple times with the care similar to a family member. I am so glad we decided to hire Brigette as our birth doula for the birth of my first child. From the moment I decided to work with Brigette, I immediately felt drawn to her warmth and calm presence, as well as her personable and easy-going demeanor. Brigette eased my anxiety about the whole labor and delivery process by talking through all the stages of labor, sharing pain management techniques, and providing me with resources backed by evidence-based research. She was also incredibly supportive in helping us create our birth plan. As I had a planned medical induction at 37 weeks, Brigette had a wealth of information to share with me about my specific situation, including an induction guide which laid out evidence on methods to include the effectiveness, advantages, and disadvantages of each. Ultimately, my labor lasted over 30 hours and Brigette was with us throughout the entire experience. I felt at ease having Brigette to help us make decisions about possible medical interventions during my labor, and she informed us about alternatives and all the options we could pursue, without judgment. Brigette was also able to document the birth of our daughter with photos and videos as she was being born, which we are so grateful for. Overall, Brigette provided us with an enormous amount of emotional support during the whole labor and delivery process. We are so grateful for her!

I cannot recommend Brigette enough. She helped us during the initial postpartum phase with our firstborn and made our lives so much easier. She's incredibly organized, helpful and proactive and her time with us was some of the best money I've ever spent.
