About Lydia

Hi! My name is Lydia, I’m 26 years old and currently based in Charleston, South Carolina. I have been working in private childcare for six years, with much of my experience focused on newborns and infants. Babies have always been my favorite age group to work with, and I truly enjoy being able to support families during those early months. Outside of childcare, I have served in the U.S. Army Reserve for seven years. In my free time, I’m definitely more of a homebody. I enjoy watching TV, going for walks, sitting outside on my porch, and relaxing at home. I love animals of all kinds and am very comfortable working in homes with pets. I also love traveling whenever I get the opportunity. A fun fact about me is that I’ve visited 37 states! Between traveling and my time in the military, I’ve had the opportunity to see a lot of the country, and I’d love to eventually make it to all 50.
